    Product Details

Featured by Morgan Cheese on Sunday Brunch, Leyden Cheese (Leidse Kaas) is one of the Netherlands’ most distinctive cheeses. Made from pasteurised cow’s milk and flavoured with cumin and caraway seeds, it has a savoury, spicy warmth that makes it unlike any other Dutch cheese.

This PDO-protected cheese has been crafted in the Leiden region of South Holland for centuries. Its firm, semi-hard texture makes it perfect for slicing, grating, or serving on a cheeseboard. The aromatic seeds give every bite a nutty, spiced flavour that pairs beautifully with beer, gin, or robust wines.

Whether you’re recreating the Sunday Brunch cheeseboard at home or adding something new to your table, Leyden Cheese is bold, unique, and full of Dutch tradition.
