Lanark Blue
Blue from South Lanarkshire, Scotland
A sheep's milk blue from Errington Cheese in South Lanarkshire, made in the spirit of Roquefort. The paste is creamy and moist, the flavour sweet, sharp and salty. In the 1990s, it was at the centre of a landmark legal battle over raw milk cheese in Britain.
