Cornish Blue

Made by the Cornish Cheese Company on the edge of Bodmin Moor, Cornish Blue is sold younger than most English blues, which keeps it soft, sweet and creamy. The blue is gentle, almost floral. It won the top award at the 2010 World Cheese Awards. I recommend it to anyone who finds Stilton too much: it gives you the pleasure of blue cheese without the fight.
