Vanessa has owned the shop for 15 years now and even before that was involved with running it. Our philosophy is simple… We want everyone to love cheese as much as we do and we believe the way to achieve this is through sharing our knowledge and enthusiasm with our customers. We understand that in a specialist business the expectations are extremely high and know that it is daunting for customers who may need guidance, we welcome all our customers to ask for advice, tastings and highly advise a visit to the shop to experience our friendly atmosphere and good, old fashioned customer service. 

We are a small family run business and we believe in good honest produce. We champion small producers and dairies, we try to always buy farm direct, and research and source our cheese, chutneys and biscuits carefully. Most of the time it is our customers who we look to for feedback; one of our long-standing customers now supplies us with our favourite range of award winning chutneys!
