Made by Todd, Maugan and Kim Trethowan, Gorwydd Caerphilly in our opinion is by far the most superior Caerphilly around. It has a hard, brown/grey rind that gives way to a creamy yellow coloured interior. Its earthy mushroomy flavour is sublime, with a crumbly centre that gets softer and stronger toward the rind.
